BRIDLESPUR HUNT FIXTURES

The landowners are generous enough to allow us access to their property. We need to be courteous and respect their hospitality. Please remember to CLEAN UP any evidence that a horse was there before leaving after the hunt.

Missouri:

Bridlespur

From I-64 US-40/61 proceed north. At the I-70 interchange continue north on US-61 for approximately 30 miles. Turn LEFT onto MO-Z and go 7.7 miles. Turn RIGHT onto MO-HH and go 1/3 mile to Bridlespur-Valley Green Farm entrance.

East Entrance of Bridlespur Valley Green

From the Intersection of I-64 W/US-40 W/US-61 N and I-70. Go North on US-61 29.8 miles, Turn Left at MO State Hwy Z. Go 4.1 miles, East entrance is on the Right, double pipe gates with a circular gravel driveway. Start looking after left bend in road at intersection of Cornerstone Church Road Co Rd -233. It is 1/3 mile after that intersection.

Cedar Valley

270, 141 or 109 to Highway 30 West. (109 dead ends after Eureka, turn left onto W and follow to Highway 30 West.) Turn right onto 30 and follow to Highway Y South (you will go beyond the "Big River"). Turn left onto Y. Continue 1 mile on Y to WW. Turn right onto WW and follow to the Cedar Valley sign. Turn right and follow the gravel road to the pasture gate on the right. Park here.

Busch Wildlife Area

From Highway 40/64 take exit 10 / MO-94 south 1.3 miles to Highway D. Turn right on D, after aprox. 2 miles turn right into the Main Entrance, Busch Wildlife Conservation Area. At first stop turn right then left at the end of the lake and then right at the first road. Turn left first opportunity into parking lot near utility building.

Illinois:

Calhoun County

Highway 270 North to 370 West, exit 94. Turn left (toward Bochertown). Turn left onto B and follow until you reach Golden Eagle Ferry. Buy a round trip ticket for the ferry. As you exit the ferry, go straight up the hill to the next stop sign (1.9 miles). Turn left onto Mississippi River Road and follow for 5.7 miles. You will see Prosker Lane on your right. There is a little house on the left just before Prosker lane you should pull behind to park.
